This was a big week for us - our first week with no visitors! I don't think it's really necessary to go into detail about how exhausting it was!! Mondays and Tuesdays are big for me right now, as Eric works all day, so it's just Cora and Mommy. We are learning every day how to interpret what she needs. I think we are both starting to learn her different cries and such. Thankfully, she is such a good baby that it's pretty easy for us to decode! She really doesn't fuss unless she has a good reason. She continues to grow each day. I can hardly believe how quickly she is growing; time seems to be moving too quickly!
Well, here are the highlights for the week:
*She had her 2nd doctor's visit on Tuesday - the 2 week check-up. Everything looks great; he had no concerns. She weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz, which is 1 lb. 2 oz. more than she weighed two weeks ago. I think my response was something like this: "Holy cow, girl! You're a little piggie!" She measured 21 1/2 inches long, which is 1 inch longer than when she was born.
* On Wednesday Cora met her great gran and great paw paw. This was special, and we were able to get a four generation picture for Eric's side. Great Granny seeing Cora for the first time

She just can't resist the power of the swing!
Heading to the doctor's office!

I walked into the living room, and Eric said, "Look at the queen upon her throne!"
