2nd Doctor's Visit

Yesterday was our 2nd visit with the doctor. It wasn't a very exciting visit overall. The bulk of the visit was regarding my bloodwork. I gave up four viles of my blood and got to pee in the cup. Exciting, right? :)

We were able to hear the heartbeat, which was just as exciting as the first time. All seems well. My blood pressure was way down, so that was definitely good news. Plus, I weighed five pounds less than my last visit! Yippee! We talked about my diet througout the pregnancy. Basically, he told me to watch my carbs.

We scheduled our appointment for the blood test to check for Down's Syndrome. That is on Feb. 3rd, and we will also have an ultrasound that day. We are looking forward to seeing the little creature again! From there, our next appointment with the doctor will be on the 16th.

After our appointment, I was a little excited, so I stopped at Babies 'R Us. I found a blanket that goes with the nursery set we picked out and a nightlight to go with it, as well. Very cute!

Anyway, can't wait to share the next ultrasound picture! Only two weeks to wait!
